ESOP – 100% EMPLOYEE-OWNED

Janotta & Herner underwent a significant transformation in 2000 when the owners decided to sell the company to its employees. This transitioned the organization into an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and soon every share of Janotta & Herner stock was owned by an employee.

Since Janotta & Herner is 100% employee-owned, ownership is held entirely by our employees, meaning every employee has a direct stake in the long-term success of our company. This structure fosters commitment and accountability among every employee-owner, as their retirement is directly tied to our reputation. As a result, our owners are devoted to the success of every client and the quality of each project.

Our employee-owners recognize that success is gauged in the long run. We firmly uphold the principle of not sacrificing long-term quality for short-term gains. This philosophy serves as the guiding approach for our business operations and client relationships.
