TekniPlex Inc., a long time partner of Janotta & Herner came with a challenge at the end of 2023 wanting to build a first of its kind specialty molded fiber manufacturing facility in Van Wert, Ohio and have it ready to receive equipment in early 2025. Janotta & Herner with sister company, Firelands Fabrication accepted the challenge and fast tracked design, engineering and permitting in order to commence construction in the spring of 2024. The J&H team moved at an incredible pace to complete construction and receive partial occupancy of this 205,000 square foot facility in January of 2025. As equipment arrived, Janotta & Herner shifted to process construction, including mezzanines, trench drains, equipment foundations, concrete tanks, and control rooms, ensuring the facility was fully operational and production-ready.
