Janotta & Herner completed a new food store for the Friendship Food Store team in 2017, and in 2021 they called on us again—this time to expand the car wash on the same property. This design-build project included adding additional entry lanes, expanding parking, installing new vacuum stations, and constructing a 4,400 sq. ft. building to accommodate a Belanger 100′ tunnel automatic car wash. Tunnel car wash facilities require specialized construction considerations, and our team planned and executed each element with precision. The building was designed to support heavy wash equipment loads, high-volume water usage, and constant moisture exposure. This included reinforced foundations, durable wall and floor systems, integrated trench drains, corrosion-resistant materials, and mechanical/electrical systems made for car wash operations. Coordination with the Belanger equipment package ensured accurate placement of utilities, conveyors, blower systems, and overhead service lines. The result is a high-performance tunnel wash designed for durability, efficiency, and long-term reliability—delivered through a streamlined car wash construction process.
