As a commercial contractor servicing Avon, Ohio, Janotta & Herner served as the firm for this 12,000 sq. ft. retail facility for OE Meyer Company. The project presented several unique site challenges, including poor soil conditions, the abandonment of an existing gas well, and complexities associated with building on a previously developed site. Through planning and our integrated design-build approach, we resolved each challenge efficiently to keep the project on track. The 6-acre site development included installation of a bulk propane tank, a propane filling station, truck dock access, expanded parking areas, and all required utilities and grading to support OE Meyer’s operations. The commercial build in Northern Ohio features a spacious retail showroom, modern office space, and a flexible warehouse area designed to accommodate storage, distribution, and daily operations.
